Some fish in this collection are beginner-friendly community species, while others are advanced oddball fish that require dedicated setup planning. Species such as White Cloud Mountain Minnows, Daisy’s Ricefish, Beckford’s Pencilfish, Panda Garra, and Siamese Algae Eaters can work well in mature community aquariums, while Mbu Puffers, Fahaka Puffers, Cross River Puffers, Silver Arowana, and Bichirs require much larger or more specialized systems.

Because this collection includes many different types of fish, we strongly recommend choosing each species based on adult size, diet, temperament, water needs, tankmates, and long-term aquarium setup.

For colourful or unusual species, the appearance you see comes from genetics, maturity, health, and proper conditioning. Topick Aquarium does not use dye or hormones to artificially enhance fish colour.
