Description:

The Giant Kuhli Loach, Pangio semicincta, is a captivating and larger cousin to the well-known Kuhli Loach. Native to Southeast Asia, this elongated, eel-like fish is prized for its striking appearance, featuring a series of dark bands over a light brown or yellowish body. Its peaceful nature and intriguing behavior make it an excellent addition to community tanks, where it can provide bottom-dwelling activity and natural pest control.

Features:

• Distinctive dark bands over a light brown or yellowish body, resembling the appearance of a banded snake or eel
• Typically grows larger than its Kuhli Loach relatives, reaching lengths of up to 4-5 inches
• Nocturnal habits, becoming more active and visible during the evening or with subdued lighting

• Compatibility: Best kept with other peaceful community fish; enjoys the company of its own kind and should ideally be kept in small groups
