Explore our collection of freshwater plecos and specialty loricariid catfish, from manageable community favourites such as Bristlenose Plecos and Whiptails to highly sought-after L-number species including Zebra Plecos, Phantom Plecos, Tiger Plecos, Royal Plecos, and Cactus Plecos.
Plecos are valued not only for their bottom-dwelling behaviour, but also for their unique patterns, body shapes, and role as long-term feature fish in planted and display aquariums. While some species graze on algae and biofilm, many rare L-number plecos require a specialized diet, caves, driftwood, strong filtration, or additional space as they mature.
At Topick Aquarium, all plecos and specialty catfish are carefully quarantined and conditioned to stable local tap water before sale. Although individual species may have different natural habitat preferences, a mature aquarium, consistent maintenance, appropriate feeding, and proper acclimation are the most important foundations for long-term success.
