Neocaridina (Neocaridina davidi) are widely considered one of the most beginner-friendly freshwater shrimp species when kept in stable, established aquariums.

At Topick Aquarium, our Neocaridina shrimp are typically maintained in stable tap water conditions (around pH 7.6 and ~220 TDS), allowing them to adapt well to many home aquariums in Canada. Adult shrimp are usually sold with a strong female-to-male ratio, helping hobbyists establish breeding colonies more successfully.
