Celestial Pearl Danio / Galaxy Rasbora (Danio margaritatus)
Quarantined nano danio for planted and community aquariums in Canada.
The Celestial Pearl Danio, also known as the Galaxy Rasbora or CPD, is one of the most iconic nano fish for planted aquariums. Its pearl-like body spots, red-orange fins, and compact size make it a high-value choice for aquascapes and carefully planned nano communities.
Why This Fish Stands Out
- Iconic nano fish with pearl-like body spotting
- Excellent planted-tank species with strong visual detail
- Popular choice for aquascapes, nano tanks, and peaceful communities
Aquarium Setup & Behaviour
Provide a mature planted aquarium with stable water, fine foods, shaded areas, and enough cover. Dense planting helps reduce shyness and brings out natural behaviour.
Best kept in a group. Males display more actively when comfortable, but the aquarium should include cover to reduce chasing and stress.
Feeding
Feed small micro-pellets, crushed flakes, frozen cyclops, baby brine shrimp, and other small foods.
Natural Colour & Livestock Integrity
Colour and display come from natural maturity, health, diet, and social behaviour. Topick Aquarium does not use hormones to artificially enhance colour.
Topick Aquarium Livestock Standard
All fish at Topick Aquarium are carefully quarantined and conditioned to our stable local tap water before sale. Danios and killifish can come from very different natural habitats, but stable water, gradual acclimation, species-appropriate feeding, and a mature aquarium are more important than chasing exact wild parameters.
